How It Works

Choose People with AI Experience

You can ask us to recruit people with AI experience relevant to your role. Tell us which tools they will use, the work those tools should support and how your team reviews the results. AI experience is a requirement you choose for the person joining your team.

What AI experience does the role need?

Start with the task you want someone to handle. A developer using a coding assistant needs different experience from a coordinator using AI to prepare a first draft. Name the tools you have approved and explain how much independent experience the role requires.

  • Identify the tasks where AI use is useful and permitted
  • Specify essential tools or describe the workflow if tools may change
  • Explain who checks the output and what needs approval

Assess Practical Judgement

Ask candidates to explain how they have used AI, checked an answer and recognised when an output was unreliable. Use a role-relevant example to discuss their approach. Experience with a tool should sit alongside the underlying skills needed to do and review the work.

Set Your Working Rules

Your business decides which tools and accounts the person may use and which information they may enter. Include your data-handling rules in onboarding and assign someone to review work before it reaches a customer or affects a business decision. The team member needs clear instructions for questions or uncertain outputs.

How does this relate to AI-assisted recruitment?

Covela uses AI assistance alongside human review in its recruitment process. That describes how we assess candidates. Recruiting someone with AI experience is a separate choice in your role brief, and you still meet candidates and make the hiring decision.
