3. Information We Collect

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, "personal information" refers to any information or opinion about an identified individual or an individual who is reasonably identifiable.

We may collect personal information in various ways, depending on your interactions with our Services. Below is a breakdown of what we collect, how we collect it, and why.

Information collected through covela.co

The Covela website currently collects your name, work email, business name and role information when you choose Send brief. These details are sent to our website service on Cloudflare and then to our team through Slack so we can respond to your enquiry and discuss the work you need covered. Please do not include candidate records, identity documents, health information or other sensitive personal information.

The brief builder uses your browser’s session storage to carry role names, responsibilities and working hours between pages. Drafts expire after two hours and can be removed using Clear draft. Contact details are not saved in session storage. Downloading a brief creates a file on your device and does not submit an enquiry. Clearing a browser draft does not remove an enquiry already sent to our team.

Our website service uses your IP address for rate limiting and keeps a submission reference and a hash of the submission for up to 24 hours to recognise repeat attempts. We do not deliberately include your contact details or brief contents in application logs. Cloudflare and Slack process information as our service providers; their processing may take place outside Australia.

The website does not currently offer account registration, payment collection, job applications or CV uploads. You can contact us about careers at the address in section 13. The categories below describe information we may collect across our wider Services, depending on how you interact with us.
